My apologies for not sending out an article in a timely manner this week. I’m 4 weeks into the spring semester for graduate school and the writing has absolutely taken me out. Not literally, I would love to leave the house more often rather than be cooped up constantly writing and editing. But mentally, my brain is kaputz.
For the past week I’ve stayed up until 1 am reading and researching on the Good Shepherd Discourse in the Gospel of John. Writing my first academic essay in a long time is exciting, but tiring. Not only has this kept me busy, but working on the reading and writing for my other classes has as well. I slightly regret taking 3 courses at once. Nonetheless, I shall persevere!
Here’s a picture of my desk set up for the many, many days of research and writing. There are certainly enough images of Jesus to help get me through it:
Deciding to go back to school was definitely the right choice, but my brain needs to get used to it again. I will have an article ready to publish by next week and humbly ask for your patience. I also ask for your prayers, my hands might not recover from all this typing…
Talk to you soon,
Ryleigh
Praying!
I’m praying for you Ryleigh! You will get through it . You are tenacious and motivated. God will give you the rest, and while I’m mentioning rest make sure you do that too. Even Jesus needed to rest. ( how’s that for a play on words?Lol)
